Struggling with Your Plot?

The kids are in bed or you’ve found a quiet moment when the world isn’t intruding on your creativity. You sit down to work on the novel that has been the crux of many a sleepless night. But as you read over your work, you realize something isn’t right. The story seems to drag or is just flat. Every aspiring writer suffers these moments.

While working on my latest novel, I found my plot struggling. Rather than pull my hair out (what little I have left), I took a break. I searched the web and discover how best sellers deal with these problems. My internet travels lead me to an interesting article in Writer’s Digest.

With a little perseverance, each of us can overcome these moments of turmoil that adorn the byways of our literary journey. The key is enjoying the scenery along the road traveled. Thus, the arrival at your destination is that much sweeter.
